Who's the Best Adventure Movie Hero of All Time?

Have you heard that they’re remaking Point Break? Perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised: The jackals in Hollywood will mine anything they think will make a buck. Indeed, they’re remaking National Lampoon’s Vacation (Ed Helms, you should know better), a travesty if there ever was one. What’s next, a remake of Caddyshack starring the Rock?

But I digress. The point here is that no one can top Patrick Swayze as Bodhi, nor Keanu Reeves as Johnny Utah. Some actors are so perfect for their parts, the parts such an embodiment of their times, the movies standing in such high relief, that they serve as foundations of the very culture.

Of course, this is a poll, not an ode to fictional heroes, so let’s have the smackdown begin. Bodhi, Johnny, Harkin, and all the rest of you, you may enter the octagon and fight when ready.
