This film came out a few years ago and I’m not certain anymore of where João de Macedo, the subject of “Way of Life” is these days. Used to haunt the biggest waves in the SF Bay Area, one of the nicest people in the surf. Hopefully he’s still out there, still bagging peaks most of us look at with horror.
