I was terrified when I first got my daughter on the Kids Ride Shotgun seat at about age two or so. Just riding down a quiet residential street seemed full of terrors. Then I realized she was laughing, and the shrieks of fear I heard were coming from my own mouth. I can’t even imagine going bikepacking with her at that age, but the folks at Hardtail Party (a great Youtube site, btw) got their little girl out there and it’s a bit of motivation for us all.
