Just in time for the holidays, vacation, and the treasured experience of analog reading, Adventure Journal’s winter issue, AJ27, is complete, done, finish-ed. We printed it the week before Thanksgiving, bound and trimmed it last week, and are delivering it to the postal service later this week. Which brings up a couple items:
Are you a subscriber who’s changed your address? Let us know ASAP at mail@adventure-journal.com.
Are you in need of a perfect holiday gift for someone who loves adventure? Give ’em a gift subscription to AJ! They’ll thank you all year.
Are you someone who loves adventure? Well, duh, why else would you be here? Give AJ to yourself!
AJ27 features so much good writing and photography, it almost isn’t fair. We have pieces on untracked Alaska, the nuttiness of cold water swimming, the exotica of the former Soviet far north, art, recipes, an amazing cabin, and a Historical Badass for the ages. There’s more, of course, but you gotta subscribe—we don’t put this stuff online, you know.
Did we mention subscribing? 🙂
Everyone should subscribe!! We’ve gotten every issue since #4 and it is money well spent. The quality is amazing and the live on our shelves just like books.
Yay! Looking forward to reading it. Then it’ll look nice in my shelf along with #4-26.
Wahoo! Can’t wait for this edition to arrive! I read this journal cover to cover!
If you are not a subscriber, please subscribe for yourself or someone you think needs a subscription.
For example: I recently boaught a subscription for my 80 year old father in law who is goin through Chemo. He doesn’t camp, not a climber, not a runner, etc.
He loves good stories, he loves hearing about people and groups doing mind blowing adventures.
He takes the Adventure Journal to his Chemo treatments and shares with me what he has read.
We were close but the shared reading we do in the Adventure Journal has strengthened our relationship.
Make yourself happy, make someone else happier….subscribe, please.
