Cody Townsend and Alex Honnold decided it would be a good idea to ride bikes from Badwater Basin, the lowest point in the contiguous US, at nearly 300 feet below sea level, to the highest point, Mt. Whitney, at more than 14,400 feet up there. More than 100 miles by bike, with 15,000 feet of elevation gain, then more miles of hiking and vert gain, just for bad snow and poor lines. Awesome.
