Eddie Bauer Giving $10k Grants for BIPOC Adventure Filmmakers

Eddie Bauer’s One Outside grant program is back.

In 2021, the brand will give six BIPOC filmmakers $10,000 each to shoot, edit, and produce short films in order to “amplify the voices, stories, and experiences of underrepresented communities in the outdoors.”

Eddie Bauer teams up with Outbound Collective to review applications. If selected, once an applicant’s film is cut and ready, Eddie Bauer will support screening efforts to get as many eyeballs on it as possible.

The filmmaker gets a boost of cash and a PR arm to get their film out there, and Eddie Bauer gets top notch content for their own channels. Last year, the program’s first, Eddie Bauer handed out four grants, this year, they’re stoked to expand that to six.

If you’re a BIPOC filmmaker, head here to apply.
