Airstream has partnered with MacGillivray Freeman Films for this incredible look at Yellowstone. As the park is temporarily closed, this lovely look at the animals, the topography, and the sounds of the place will have to suffice as a visit for now. But also as a teaser for when it opens back up again.
This film is part of Airstream’s Portable Parks series, and is the first installment. The idea is to bring the national parks into your living room, in HD, when you can’t get there yourself.
Can never go wrong with MG-F!
Now the question remains, with film processing infrastructure becoming increasingly scarce, how, in 2020, would one go about DMRing these and doing film-out to 15-perf 70mm so I can watch them on the 75′ x 55′ IMAX screen in my buddy’s basement? 😀
