Alf Randell was a legend among Utah climbers. A dirtbag’s dirtbag, he lived in a camper, climbed the routes of Indian Creek constantly, and fixed climbing shoes to earn his keep. These days, he seems to live in rural Washington, still toiling as a handyman tinkerer. His desert life, however, will always be an inspiration to those who want nothing more to pursue, simply that which they love.
