Faith E. Briggs is a conservationist, advocate for diversity in the outdoors, and a badass runner. Briggs used to run through the concrete canyons of NYC, now she prefers forested canyons of the West. She teamed up with two companions to run through sections of three hotly contested national monuments, slated for size reductions by the current administration. Along the way, and in this short, Briggs gets to the meat of what public lands are, who they’re for, and their crucial importance.
