Josh Clark Jono Carr were hunting one day in New Zealand’s Routeburn Valley when they stumbled on a hidden cave. Curious, they peeked inside and found the bones of the extinct Moa, a flightless bird native to New Zealand. It just so happened, the cave was a few hundred meters from an alluring couloir, with a climb and ski possibility. This is the story of their find and attempts to ski the descent.
