It’s so easy to hang your head about climate change news. It’s just so bad. And relentless. Rightfully so, but still, a lot of bad news bludgeoning us over and over again. But, according to Sierra Magazine, there are reasons to be hopeful. Or, as they put it, “10 glimmers of hope that humanity will opt for less screwed over more screwed in 2019.” Those glimmers originate from things like the rapid divestment from fossil fuel investments from more than 1,000 institutions across the country, to the continued rise of renewable energy worldwide, to courts around the world ruling in favor of the environment over business interests, and that young people are increasingly agitating for change, among other hopeful signs. See the rest of their glimmers here.
