I’ve often wanted to reincarnate as a tree. Silent, peaceful, long-living, stoic. There’s something about them that feels…wise. As humans, we look to trees for protection, shade, shelter, beauty, and comfort. Patagonia’s new film Treeline explores those themes with a handful of skiers, snowboarders, and scientists traveling through impossibly old bristlecone pine forests in Nevada, cypress groves in Japan, and towering red cedars in British Columbia.

This trailer is only a minute long, but it manages to pack that length with soul-stirring beauty. Have a look and check here for screening dates.
