I wanna have a cup of coffee with Erik Gordon and talk to him about life and love and values and the importance of spending your most valuable asset wisely. Gordon, who’s feature in the short film below, dumped his life savings in an old VW van, devoted himself to making it as reliable as an old VW van can be, and then set out on the road as a mobile barista.

Gordon lived a relatively solitary life. He adventured alone, spent a lot of time alone, the idea being that he’d better get to know himself that way. But his heart got tired of that, I guess, because he built Carabiner Coffee as a vehicle for building relationships. It’s “a traveling coffee company that is all about spreading love and passion for life and showing people that you can really do anything you want if you love to do it,” Gordon said.
