First, Brock Davis will make you smile. Then he’ll make you kick yourself and say, “Why didn’t I think of that?” Well, don’t feel bad, Davis does this for a living. The multidisciplinary artist (photographer, graphic designer, illustrator, creative director) has worked with Harley-Davidson, Subaru, Porsche, Gibson Guitars, and others, crafting whimsical, clever, and highly effective ad campaigns. His work has been featured on the cover of Time. He spent a year creating (and documenting) a new piece of art every day. And he genius is finding things hiding in other things – cherry bombs in cherries, clouds in cotton puffs – and spins them into tiny brilliantly conceived and tidily executed little still lifes, many of which he features on Instagram, where he has a not-small following of nearly 134,000.
