adventurey report jetforce airbag hello kitty

Black Diamond’s new Jetforce avalanche airbag is the hottest product under the winter sun, with its fan-inflated safety bag promising to revolutionize this key snow safety device, but now the somewhat nerdy piece of technology is embracing popular culture by collaborating with Hello Kitty for a line of limited edition bags.

“We knew the Hello Kitty bags would be huge in Japan,” said a Black Diamond product developer, “but when we tested them in key U.S. markets they went crazy.”

The new bag adds about $100 to the cost of the overall kit, and Hello Kitty won’t be the only mod Jetforce users can buy. BD says that by year’s end it expects to have a plaid Woolrich collaborative bag (the “Williamsburg”) and personalized messages (“oops,” “help,” “darn it”) not long after that.

The Adventurey Report is almost certainly not true.
