Video of the Day: Yosemite Rim Fire Time Lapse

At last check, the Yosemite Rim fire had burned more than 300 square miles and its smoke was affecting the cities of Carson City and Reno, more than 100 miles away. It is one of the largest fires in recent California history, but thanks to cooperative weather has slowed from burning 1,000 acres an hour to 300. In this National Park Service video, you can see it glowing and surging before the vid cuts to Yosemite Valley, where the main attraction has been untouched by smoke or flames.
