firefly 660Remember when mountain bikes just looked fast? Now, the faster they go, it seems, the more they look like pigs. But not this 29er Firefly. It’s been years since I thought about my hardtail titanium Litespeed (the Ocoee? no, it was another model…), but the beautiful, ultra-clean lines of this Firefly brought back memories of riding something that looked fast, felt fast, and railed fast. From the internal cable routing to the Gates belt drive matched with XTR cranks and the gorgeous seat stays, the Firefly is an exercise in pleasing the eye and slipping down the trail like an arrow.

I’m a sucker for Black Sheep-style swoopy top tubes, but this is a stunner.

You might want to add Firefly to your list of American Made Products

I just realized, from the week end refuge to this bike, Steve, that this site is the Vanity Outdoor Fair. And I love it. It takes me places in my sophisticated and unattainable mind ;)
