
Oh, the beauty of a clearing storm. The slightly perceptible brightening as the layers thin. The tapering from dump to squall to flurries. Then the rending of clouds into wisps, tatters, and tendrils. So pretty. So irritating.
Clearing storms suck. Better visibility is a poor tradeoff for the cessation of snowfall. You can have your blueby, I’ll take greybird any day. It should start snowing on, oh, let’s be reasonable, October 15…and not stop until April 30. That would be about right.
