Perhaps the coolest thing about hands-free cameras like GoPro isn’t that they put us in places that most of us would never go, like deep in the pit at Teahupoo, but that they provide a whole new perspective. Even if you wanted to, you’d never stick your head in the lip, take a peek, and come out unscathed. But as Anthony Walsh shows, with devices like the Hero 3, it’s like having a completely different set of eyes — ones that can go almost anywhere and capture almost anything.
