Dubai is like a cross between Las Vegas and Moab, with a little bit of Aspen thrown in for good measure. Pretty much anything goes there, it seems, especially when it comes to jumping out of planes and buildings. And while urban centers aren’t exactly our forte, there’s something otherworldly and hypnotic about the Dubai skyline, like a scene from a Frank Herbert novel.

By today’s wingsuit standards, where people are racing and deliberately smashing into foam pylons, this video is relatively sedate. But what it might lack in heart-pounding action it makes up with the strange beauty of the world above this United Arab Emirates city.
