Slovenian Andro Kajzer scored some decent peeling rights on a surf trip to Sri Lanka with his girlfriend last year. The water looks warm, foamy, and inviting — though Kajzer could have exercised a little restraint in just how many of those waves he put in the edit. Far more interesting is Sri Lanka itself, from the cattle walking down the dusty street to the tuktuks puttering past to the beautiful dark skin of the people. Like so many of today’s travlogs, “Journey to Sri Lanka” is patchy, anarrative, and a delight to watch.

Declination is other places, other spaces, and the things that happen there.
