Oh, c’mon. Seriously? This is ridiculous: No matter how much you refuse to anthropomorphize wild animals, this little clip of a seal grasping hands/flippers with diver Ben Burville off the coast of Northumberton, England, will melt that glacial heart of yours. And if you’re already a softie about critters, it’s all over — just put it on loop and smile. Cause even if the seal is really sizing him up for edibility, it sure looks like one of the sweetest cross-species gestures you’ll ever see.

He wants some food.
Had a similar experience like this with a harbor seal in Carmel Bay, CA about 10 years ago. It was unique and magical. There was a curitosity that could not be explained. Likely one of my most memorable dives in my life.
