It’s one thing to throw a backflip off a kicker, it’s another thing entirely to drop one in the middle of a tasty natural line. Riding in Virgin, Utah, just outside Zion National Park, where he won last year’s Red Bull Rampage, Cam Zink goes upside down and stomps it, with just a little off-track wobble at the end.
The video is an example of what not to do with marketing — instead of just letting Zink’s heroics take center stage, Casio has to force the square peg of product placement into the round hole of athletic radness (“With our watch you can the compass and thermometer at the same time!!”). There’s plenty of good riding throughout, including some sweet POV stuff early on, but if you want to get to the goods zip ahead to 2:44.
