“We’re always looking for new donors so it’s a fine bonus that the Sperm Cell Bike gets peoples attention,” says Peter Bower.
Indeed, right across the side of this modified Bullitt cargo bike, it says in Danish “Become a sperm donor.”
The Sperm bike is certainly an attention getter. It’s not just the unmistakable oversized reproductive madman cruising the streets of Copenhagen, it’s the knowledge that inside that big white DNA carrier is bazillions of smaller DNA carriers on ice. Yes, the Sperm bike isn’t just a clever bit of marketing to attract donors, the bike serves as the delivery vehicle to bring its precious cargo to fertility clinics around the city.
