Molde, Norway, has one of those names that bring a chuckle or smirk to the face of an English speaker, like, oh, Snot, Armenia, and not only could most people not place it on a map, most have never even heard of it. And yet Molde has unbelievable rock climbing, endless backcountry skiing, and fantastic mountain biking. Yep, it’s a long way from just about anywhere, but this shot by photographer and guide Terje Aamodt (and the shots on his website) is the kind of thing that will set you on your way.
